QuickBooks Tip
New in 2013!
A small, yet quite useful change has come to the Customer, Vendor, and Employee Centers. No more need to make custom fields to add different contact names to a Vendor or Customer. Now you can have multiple contacts per Vendor or Customer. And on top of that, you can add notes to each contact. Simple and very useful new feature.

Introducing the Mendelson Academy
With the success and positive feedback of our recent "What's New in QuickBooks 2013" seminars (on 10/11/12), we are proud to announce the opening of our Mendelson Academy!
The academy concept started several years ago (as far back as 2004 with our first seminar at the Southwest Regional Library), followed by a few sponsored events and being a facilitator at multiple national conferences; in 2011 we moved to our new premises and finally in 2012 finished designing of our very own state-of-the-art training facility (complete with a 70" touchscreen display)
The Mendelson Academy is conveniently located in our offices in Pembroke Pines. We prefer to limit class sizes to 20 participants for a more personal and comfortable learning environment. We are offering classes for everyone from beginner to expert users with topics such as QuickBooks Concepts, QuickBooks Deep Dive, Adventures in Inventory, QuickBooks Data File Management, and many more to come.
Scroll down to see our Upcoming Class Schedule or visit www.MendelsonAcademy.com for more information and to register for classes.
See you in school!

New Windows is going to be a disaster (not really)
This new version of Windows is going to be a disaster, pundits say. It will be completely rejected by businesses, who will stick with old versions even after Microsoft drops support for them.
And its new interface is so hideous and unusable that customers who are forced to use it will trip over themselves finding ways to restore the old Start menu.
I am, of course, talking about Windows XP, which was released 11 years ago this week. It lived down to all those insults and dire predictions for years before it finally and implausibly became a success. -Ed Bott, znet.com
No one likes change, but it's essential for advancement and improvement. Windows 8 is about to released and many are already writing it off as a failure just like they did Windows XP. And look how well Windows XP did, many of us are still using it to this day! Happy Eleventh Birthday Windows XP (and RIP) ...MIKE
