BC Agenda for Shared Prosperity - Opportunity for Summit Participation
In partnership with the BC Chamber of Commerce and the BC Business Council the Kelowna Chamber is hosting an invitation only workshop as part of an exciting new project called the BC Agenda for Shared Prosperity.
The purpose of this project is to begin a new dialogue on the importance of economic growth for communities and individuals. Over the last year both organizations have seen a worrying trend towards close-minded and insular perspectives on critical public policy debates. These perspectives present a very real threat to our standard of living and constrain the choices we all want as British Columbians. We have attached the letter outlining the project that you received recently.
In essence the project looks to create new and innovative approaches to generating ideas through a process that seeks to enhance future prosperity for the province and its people. A critical component of this process is a series of regional summits that will be held in key communities throughout the province. We have an invitation to provide three senior community/business leaders to attend as delegates from our community.
Kelowna Workshop
