FortisBC to host an All-Day Forum to help local businesses save energy, reduce cost
For businesses who are interested in saving energy (and costs) at their business, facility and projects, FortisBC is pleased to be hosting the first ever FortisBC PowerSense Energy Efficiency Forum.
There are two dates, set to take place:
Kelowna, Capri Hotel, October 10
Castlegar, Community Complex, October 24
Attendees will learn about what works best for the most savings from presentations and break-out sessions lead by PowerSense award winners, FortisBC staff and industry experts. Sessions will include:
- Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) 'Mini-Spot the Savings'
- Energy efficient lighting
- Energy efficient HVAC Systems
- Creating an energy-smart culture
- How to access rebates and financial help
The annual PowerSense Awards will take place during lunch (11:30 - 1:30), and features inspiring keynote speakers:
The Forum will end with a Meet and Greet featuring an opportunity to exchange ideas and meet with vendors who supply a variety of energy efficiency products and services. Delegates can also plan to stay an extra day and attend the Spot the Savings Workshop, sponsored NRCan and FortisBC.
This is a no-cost event for commercial and business customers of FortisBC, located in the BC Southern Interior.
