Paul's case against same-sex conduct
Before the apostle Paul proclaims the good news of salvation by grace through faith, he must establish the human need for this divine gift, and he does so in the first two and a half chapters of Romans by laying out his case for the sinfulness of all people.

Paul singles out homosexuality in Romans 1:26-27 to illustrate the descending spiral of depravity that befalls those who refuse to acknowledge God's lordship over their lives.

Meet Ed Croteau, Missouri apologist
Two strangers from a local church knocked on Ed Croteau's door about 25 years ago. As a
Catholic, he had always heard Jesus described as the Son of God, but for the first time, they
explained that Jesus was God.

Croteau and his wife Jo were overcome by the presence of God
and gave their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Ed now shares his faith through Christian apologetics and serves in the Missouri Baptist Apologetics Network.

Will a man rob God?

Does the Bible command tithing? If we don't tithe are we robbing God? Doesn't the Old Testament teach tithing, while the New Testament stresses giving?

These are important questions, and every sincere believer wants to get the answers correct. The Bible is our authority -- and the last word on this subject.

Some of you were like this
In 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 the apostle Paul addresses moral issues facing the church at Corinth and provides a list of unrepentant behaviors that demonstrate certain people are outside the kingdom of God.

Among those listed are homosexuals. Yet Paul offers tremendous hope by reminding his fellow believers that "some of you were like this," meaning God had delivered them from the gay lifestyle.
