TNR Initiative

In an effort to reduce the population of stray cats without euthanization, the Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department is launching a new initiative known as TNR; Trap, Neuter and Return. The TNR workshop will create volunteer trapping corps that will monitor neighborhoods in search of stray cats and kittens. The volunteers will receive assistance with traps, free spay/neuter services including vaccines, donated cat food and a communication network for volunteers.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 10 a.m. to noon at Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Headquarters, Auditorium 9300 N.W. 41st Street Miami, FL 33178. Anyone interested in attending the workshop is asked to email Arthur Moise, Animal Services TNR Coordinator, at [email protected]visit the Animal Services Website, or call 3-1-1.
