The Coral Gables Development Services Department, in conjunction with the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a series of focus groups aimed at sharing information on permitting and development processes and receiving feedback on how we can improve our services. If you are interested in joining this effort, please find details below about the dates and times and how you can RSVP.

Focus Group Details: 
 
Anyone who falls into one of the groups identified below and is interested in participating can RSVP with their preferred focus group selection (see details below) by: Email: bmorales@coralgables.com, or Phone: (305) 460-5235 between 8:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Focus Group A: May 21, 2015, 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Small business and restaurant owners

Focus Group B: May 21, 2015, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Developers/builders/designers

Focus Group C: June 1, 2015, 4:00 p.m. -5:30 p.m. Realtors

Focus Group D: June 1, 2015, 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Homeowners

Location: All focus group sessions will be held at the Coral Gables Museum, Community Room, 285 Aragon Avenue and discussion topics will include the following:

-Building Permitting Flow Chart and Goals
-The Development Review Committee and Board of 
-Architects approval processes
-Special requirements for Zoning, ADA, Signage, Aesthetics etc.
-The Building Permitting process and Fees
-Coordination with outside agencies, Miami-Dade  Department of Environmental Resources Management  (DERM) and the Water and Sewer Department (WASD)
-The Construction Staging and Inspection processes
