Our monthly kid's calendar for November for the Lamoille Valley - also published in the Transcript and available at the Playroom -- is out, and can be downloaded here. If you want your event on this list, and it's for kids between 0-8, let me know - Steve

Welcoming new babies and families:
We (Building Bright Futures) offer a Welcome Baby Visit to anyone who asks - it's a way to welcome new families and babies to the community - to learn about playgroups and baby chats, and we give away a meal in a jar, books and a gift card to Hannaford's. Get in touch if you or someone you know might be interested! Currently our volunteers who do visits are Anne Farley and Vicki Rich... they know ALL about having babies and raising them here! - Steve

The Lamoille Valley BBF Regional Council Meeting We meet at the Playroom on the Second Tuesday of the Month from 3:30 till 5:30... Tuesday, November we'll cover the developing agenda of the Vermont Early Childhood Alliance, and have a conversation with the outgoing ED Julie Coffey of the State Building Bright Futures Advisory Council. We'll also continue work on the Strategic Plan to support Children and Families in the Lamoille Valley. Feel free to join come and contribute - Steve

Ahhhhhh
Car seats. What a pain, but oh, so important.
The data suggests that 7 out of 10 kids are not properly buckled in.

If you would like a free car seat inspection, you can do that in Morrisville at Appleseed Pediatrics (across from Copley Hospital). Just call to make an appointment. 802 888-7337
