C'mon Spring!
With temperatures over the past month staying in the teens and single digits, I'm feeling more ready than ever for spring to arrive. Even if along with spring comes mud season - I'll opt for mud over more bitter cold at this point!

We have many things happening this month -- hopefully you'll be able to join us for some of them! As always, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to reach out. We want to make sure this newsletter is a helpful resource and I'd be happy to adjust the content to better reflect the needs of our partners.

In particular, we hope you'll share your voice with us as we work to create our next regional plan for CVBBF. We'd love to have you join us for one of many regional planning opportunities over the coming months. Thanks in advance for your help!

Regional Planning Retreat
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our regional planning retreat! We had great engagement from across our region and made terrific progress toward creating the next iteration of our regional plan for Central Vermont BBF. There will be continued opportunities to share your voice and your perspective over the coming months but please feel welcome to reach out to me if you have ideas about how best we can continue to gather feedback about our plan.
Promise Communities
The Promise Community Initiative will provide supports, such as technical assistance from Promise Community coaches, financial supports and information to help communities that include at least one elementary school to work together across sectors -- health, education, human services and community planning. These collaborations will do "whatever it takes" to improve the educational and developmental outcomes for children in their communities. Visit this site for more information about Promise Communities.
