Our annual Holiday Food Drive will start on Monday, November 18th. Please see the information posted below for details on how you and your child can get involved in this wonderful community service event.

November 18 - BMS Holiday Food Drive Begins, Donations to Room 154 (Ms. Both's room)

 

November 19 - 22 - CAP Program Presentation to Grade 5 

 

November 20 - Picture retakes, All grade levels, during morning hours only in BMS Gymnasium 

 

November 20 - Grade 5 Scheduled Parent Conferences, 7:45 am - 2:46 pm

New! Grade 5 Parent Conferences, Wednesday, November 20th:
 
Parents who have scheduled conferences with the 5th grade team are to report to the main office of BMS on Wednesday for their time slot. If you would like to schedule a conference with the 5th grade team, there are still some limited time slots available for that day. Please contact Mr. Terraciano, the 5th grade team leader, with any questions you may have via email at vterraciano@shsd.org.
 
New! Attention All BMS Students! Annual Holiday Food Drive:
 
'Tis the season of generosity! The Annual BMS Holiday Food Drive will be held from Monday, November 18 and run through Wednesday, December 4th . Students and staff may donate non-perishable items of all types to benefit the Food Bank Network of Somerset County. 

1 item=10 minutes of community service credit.  Items may be dropped off in Room 154 before the start of the school day. 

 

On Monday, November 25th only, we will be collecting frozen turkeys & fresh produce (fruits/vegetables) .  Items may be dropped off by the bench near the cafeteria entrance OR in the main office.  1 turkey=1 hour of service credit; 1 bag of fresh produce=1 hour of service credit.

Anyone interested in purchasing their 2014 yearbook can do so at  YearbookOrderCenter.com.  If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Heydt at jheydt@shsd.org.

HSA News

New! HSA General Membership Meeting Tuesday, November 19th:
 
Please join us for our next HSA meeting on Tuesday November 19th at 9 am in the BMS Library. Our guest speakers will be nutritionist Kaitlyn McGowan, RD and Superintendent Dr. Frances Wood.  
 
HSA One Time Pledge Donation:

Please help support the BMS HSA! The HSA is nearly $5000 below our budget goal for the 2013-2014 school year. The HSA funds events such as Canteens, Pool Parties, the 8th Grade Class Trip, DARE, Field Day and much much more! Your donations are our ONLY school fundraiser. If you have not yet made your donation or would like to make an additional donation please click here for our One Time Pledge form so we an continue to fund these wonderful programs at BMS.
