Green Team --- Join the BMS Green Team! You'll get to take care of our school by doing recycling and outdoor projects, as well as do extra science labs and activities. And you'll earn all your community service too! We meet every other Wednesday from 2:50 to 3:50 in Ms. Malwitz's room, starting September 26th. New! Atttention all BMS 7th Graders! Free YMCA Membership For All Seventh Graders for the 2013-14 school year!
The 7 th Grade BMS Student who attends the YMCA most often between October 4th and October 31st will win Rutgers Football Tickets! Get to the Y, sign up for an orientation and start having fun and working out! It's a win-win. Click here to get the details of free membership.
Reminder: New End Time for Co-Curricular Activities & Late Bus:
As of Tuesday, September 17th, all co-curricular activities, including the after-school library program, will now end at 3:50 pm. For any student needing to use the late bus, it will arrive at the school at 3:55 pm.

HSA News
HSA General Membership Meeting:
Please join us for our first HSA General Meeting of the 2013-2014 school year! Our first meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 24th @ 9am in the BMS Media Center. We will have our new Superintendent, Dr. Frances Wood as well as our Assistant Principal, Shawn Kelly who will discuss Harnessing the Power of Power School!
8th Grade Car Wash:

The 8th Grade Car Wash is an annual fundraiser to raise money to help pay for the great 8th Grade Class Trip to NYC in June.

Golf Outing - The 2nd Annual SHIHA Golf outing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24th at Neshanic Valley Golf Course. Registration is available on-line and payments for both golfers and sponsors is also available at the link above under the "Golf Outing" tab at www.BernardsSomervilleIceHockey.com . Cost if registered by August 30th is $185 per golfer or $195 after August 30th! Your support is needed in securing golfers, volunteering the day of the event or secure auction items and/or prizes.
