Seahorse Story Time--Monday, August 26 at 10:30 am. Seahorse stories and a craft. Free family program. No sign-up is needed.

 

Meet the Tooth Doctor--Tuesday, August 27 at 10:30 am. Ages 2-5 years. Join us to learn about your teeth from a very special dentist. Youngsters will enjoy a story and watch a dinosaur cartoon about going to the dentist.  They will meet a dragon whose teeth they can brush and slip into a big six-kid teeth costume to have 'goo' brushed off with a giant toothbrush with a spot between them that gets flossed. Free. No sign-up is needed.

 

Make a Cat Mummy--Wednesday, August 28 at 10:30 am. Free family craft program. No sign-up is needed.

 

 

Halloween Costume Sale

Bernardsville teens are collecting gently used Halloween costumes and accessories for an up-coming sale at Bernardsville Public Library.  Proceeds will benefit teen programs at the library.  Donations can be dropped off in the box in the library foyer. 

 

The sale will take place on Wednesday, September 18 (3:30-5:00 pm) and Saturday, September 21 (10:00 am-2:00 pm)

NEW -SOMERSET HILLS YMCA ADVENTURE GUIDES PROGRAM. This program allows fathers to bond with their children though activities in which they explore the world around them. The program includes camping trips, day trips and activities that promote social responsibility. An Open House will be held for the program on September 8th. See flyer for more information.

CHILD HEALTH CONFERENCE

The Bernards Township Health Department conducts a monthly no cost clinic for children who are not covered by health insurance which ensures that children receive appropriate vaccinations in a timely manner.  

The services provided are: Growth and development assessments, Immunizations for newborns through children 18 years of age, Nutrition assessment and counseling, and Information and education on childhood health, safety, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in the area, Pediatric Dental Program, NJ Snap (Food Stamps), etc. This influenza vaccine is available to those who attend at our Child Health Conference.
