A few spots remain for the last SHEF Enrichment Academy

Math and Music Courses of the summer

 

Math:

Gateway to Algebra I: This course will review important math concepts necessary for success in Algebra I.  Classes begin on Tuesday, August 20th at 9:00am.  Click on the link below for complete details.

Gateway to Geometry: This course will review the important Algebra I skills necessary for success in Geometry. Classes begin on Tuesday, August 20th at 12:30pm. Click on the link below for complete details.

Gateway to Algebra II: This course will review important Algebra skills as well as provide a preview of Algebra II.  Classes begin on Tuesday August 20th at 12:30pm.  Click on the link below for complete details.        

Music:

Music Technology Camp:  Learn about the basics of the recording and digital music world.  Classes begin on Monday, August 19th at 9:00am.  Click on the link below for complete details.

*Courses will be held at Bernards High School and are open to students from the surrounding area.

Dinosaur Books--Monday, August 19 at 10:30 am. Create a dinosaur book to take home. Free family program. No sign-up is needed.

 

Cave Painting--Tuesday, August 20 at 7:00 pm. Come dressed to paint like they did long ago--on the walls of caves. Grades 4 and up. Free. No sign-up is needed.

CHILD HEALTH CONFERENCE

The Bernards Township Health Department conducts a monthly no cost clinic for children who are not covered by health insurance which ensures that children receive appropriate vaccinations in a timely manner.  

The services provided are: Growth and development assessments, Immunizations for newborns through children 18 years of age, Nutrition assessment and counseling, and Information and education on childhood health, safety, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in the area, Pediatric Dental Program, NJ Snap (Food Stamps), etc. This influenza vaccine is available to those who attend at our Child Health Conference.
