Congratulations to Mrs. Allison Snyder on being selected as the 2013 Somerset Hills Educational Professional of the Year for Bernards High School. Mrs. Snyder has been working in the district since 2008 as an English/Special Education teacher at the high school. Mrs. Snyder has taught all levels of classes, founded the Book Club, advised the 9th - 11th grade classes, and moderated the Pinnacle, the BHS literary magazine, for the past three years.
In her classroom, not only is Mrs. Snyder engaging, enthusiastic, and caring, she also consistently challenges her students to reach their full potential. She exudes a true passion for literature and strives to develop that love for reading in her students. Mrs. Snyder truly goes above and beyond to serve the students of Bernards High School.
We would also like to extend our congratulations to the other 2013 Somerset Hills Educational Professionals of the Year: Melissa Leonard, Bedwell Elementary School and Kimberly Flynn, Bernardsville Middle School. Please join me in congratulating these outstanding teachers on this accomplishment.
Regards,
Scott A. Neigel Principal
