Bedwell Friday Folder

April 19, 2013
Hello at home,

It's hard to believe, but the 2013 Bedwell World's Fair Field Day will be here before we know it. This year Field Day is scheduled for Thursday, June 6 (Rain date: June 7) and we need volunteers to help make this day great. Organizing such an event is a big task, and to facilitate this endeavor Mrs. Paterno and Mr. Wilkinson are using VolunteerSpot.  You can donate water, help with set-up or run a station. If you'd like to volunteer, please follow these 3 easy steps:

1. Click here to go to our invitation page on VolunteerSpot
2. Enter your email address: (You will NOT need to register an account on VolunteerSpot and                                                                       your email will not be shared).
3. Sign up and choose your spot.  VolunteerSpot will send you an automated confirmation and reminders as the date approaches.

Field Day is always a memorable event, and it would not be possible without the help of our wonderful parent community.  We are always grateful for all you do.

Warm regards,

Gretchen Dempsey

Assistant Principal

  • Reminder! Students arriving via the Car Rider Line may be dropped off at the back of the building between 8:35-8:50 AM when teachers are on Car Rider Duty and the back doors are being monitored. Students are never to be dropped off without a staff member present. If you pull up to the Car Rider Line before 8:35 or after 8:50 when no staff members are present, do not let your child out of the car.  After 8:50, parents must drive to the front of the building to drop students off. If it is after 8:55 AM, parents must bring the students into the main office to sign in. We appreciate your cooperation as we work together to keep our school community safe.
  • Reminder!  We've noticed that some students have been carrying electronic devices to Bedwell. As detailed in our Parent Handbook, students should not bring items of value to school. Please help us keep your costly items safe by leaving them at home.
