NJASK Testing:
Please note NJASK 2013 testing for Grades 7 & 8 will be 4/29 thru 5/2. Grades 5 & 6 will test 5/6 thru 5/9.
It is pertinent to make every effort to ensure your child is present and on time for school during testing.
Students were handed NJASK 2013 Parent & Student Testing Information Booklets during classes yesterday to bring home for both students and parents to read. Additionally you can access the same information from the following links.

Attention 8th Graders!
Somerset Hills YMCA is offering a great scholarship opportunity for middle school students to attend the Counselor in Training program. The attached flyer briefly describes four scholarships the YMCA administers, one of which pertains to 8 th graders. Attention 8th Grade Parents it's time for the 8th Grade DVD for the Class of 2013!
With 8th Grade Graduation just a little over 4 months, the gathering of pictures for the creation of our 8th Grade video has begun!
This year, Lyn Dotterweich is responsible for the creation of this DVD and she needs your help. Lyn needs pictures from you to fill the DVD. Our DVD will include pictures from both Bedwell and BMS time frame. This will make the DVD so much more fun! So please dust off those photo albums and forward pictures to be considered for the DVD to lyn.dotterweich@yahoo.com. or call her at 908-234-2398 (cell 908-285-2654). Please forward only those pictures from a school sponsored events.

GET YOUR SPRING SPIRITWEAR! The online store for BMS spiritwear is now open for placing orders. New this spring are BMS black mesh shorts. Other items available include short- and long-sleeve T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts and flannel pants. To access the store, please use the link https://efinger.itemorder.com/ The sales code is BMS2013. Orders can be placed through Friday, April 19. Merchandise will arrive approximately three weeks after the store closes and will be sent home with the student through the front office. GIRLS LACROSSE CLINIC for 7th and 8th Graders!!
Everyone from beginners to experienced players are welcome to attend this clinic run by the BHS Girls Lacrosse Coach, Jess McGinnn, and her team! Come for an hour and a half of age and skill appropriate instruction and activities on Saturday, April 13th from 4:30-6:00pm on the BHS Turf Field. Please see the attached form for details. Walk-ups are welcome but please email jmcginn@shsd.org to reserve a spot.
