Construction work to begin on Mt Airy Road January 7, 2013
There will be construction work on Mt Airy Road beginning January 7 for several weeks. Water mains on Mt Airy Road between South Street and Prospect Avenue are being replaced. The contractor plans on allowing school buses to travel on Mt Airy, but there may be delays if equipment needs to be moved to allow the buses to pass. We will be monitoring buses and make adjustments to pick up times if necessary. For those children whose bus stop locations are on Mt Airy Road, we will have to wait and see how the construction work will impact them.
Please advise any children who walk on Mt Airy Road to use extreme caution during the construction work.
