Preparation
Students are expected to be able to demonstrate their mastery of all content and skills covered up to and including January 16th.
No tests or quizzes will be administered on January 17th or 18th.
No homework, tests, quizzes or outside assignments will be given from January 21st - 25th.
Weighting
For full year courses, the "weight" of the midterm exam will be changed from 10% of the course grade to 7.5% of the course grade. The final exam will count for 12.5% of the course grade.
Students in AP classes who take the AP exam in May are exempt from their final exams. Due to modifications to the Midterm Exams, this year each marking period will count as 22.8% of the course grade and the midterm will count as 8.8% of the course grade.
These weights are consistent with the number of instructional days during each semester.
