This is an important message from Dr. Lynn Kratz, Principal of Bernardsville Middle School, regarding a split session schedule beginning on Friday, November 9^th. At this time, power has been restored to Bedwell Elementary School but not to Bernardsville Middle School. Therefore, both the Middle School and Bedwell will be open on Friday, November 9^th at the Bedwell campus and will follow a shortened split-session schedule. Middle School students will report to the Bedwell Campus at the regularly scheduled start time of 7:45 a.m. with the school day ending at 12 pm. Due to the shortened schedule, Middle School students will not eat lunch during the school day but are welcome to bring a snack.

BMS student's arrival and dismissal on buses will take place at the front of the Bedwell Elementary School. The arrival and dismissal of students by car will follow Bedwell's car-rider line located behind the Bedwell Elementary School. Due to the expected increase in car traffic, we ask families to carpool whenever possible. The Bernardsville Police Department has asked any student walking to and from school be accompanied by an adult. Students without a safe route to school will be excused and should not attempt to report to school. Attendance modifications will be made for students who are unable to report to school.
