Bedwell School has dedicated fourth grader volunteers eager to return all lost and forgotten items to their rightful owners. Project Lost & Found is only successful when you write your child's name on all outerwear, lunchboxes, hats, and reusable water bottles. This will enable our helpers to return misplaced items. At the end of each marking period, all unreturnable items will be donated to charity.

Bedwell Book Fair - Help us turn the Bedwell Library into a full-fledge bookstore! The Bedwell Book Fair runs Oct. 30 through Nov 7. This popular weeklong event needs many volunteers to ensure its success. Please consider giving a couple of hours of your time. Sign up here.
The First Box Top Contest is underway! Please start sending in those clipped Box Tops to school. Have them marked with the teacher's name and grade in order for his/her class to get credit. Bedwell is striving to collect 30% more Box Tops than last year! Learn about other ways to earn Box Tops at http://www.boxtops4education.com/
Lunchroom Volunteers: Volunteers are needed daily to assist the Kindergartners and 1st Graders in the lunchroom and to accompany the students to recess. Join Principal Amy Phelan and Trustees from the Somerset Hills Education Foundation(SHEF) for one of the upcoming Bedwell Newcomers coffees. These casual events will provide a chance for parents to learn about SHEF and how they support the students of the Bedwell School. You don't have to be a Newcomer to attend - all parents are welcome! Attention Parents! Have you heard of Google Docs but don't know what it is or how it works? Now is your chance! SHEF is sponsoring a FREE hands-on computer seminar in the BHS Library Computer lab on Thursday, October 25 at 10:00 am. Come learn about Google Docs, managing your volunteer lists online, sharing data with other volunteers and managing your group calendar.
