  California State Capitol

LAAC continues to track the progress of legislation we've supported this session.
Check here to see where the bills currently stand.

We're also tracking opportunities to weigh in on the State Bar's proposals to allow non-attorneys to practice law and to change pro bono, practical skills, and MCLE requirements for California attorneys.
Campaign for Justice:
A Call for Stories
Campaign for Justice Logo

The Campaign for Justice is happy to announce a new opportunity to share your clients' stories. We are collaborating with Pixel Corps to create videos featuring clients whose lives have been changed by your work.

The Campaign plans to use these videos to promote awareness of the importance of legal aid and to increase funding for legal services programs in California. We are asking legal services attorneys, like you, to please submit inspiring client stories to the Campaign for Justice to be featured in one of these videos.

We are especially interested in stories from the Central Valley. If you have any stories please feel free to contact Jennifer Kregear of the State Bar of California.
