Herndon Festival

Herndon Festival Business Expo

 

The 35th annual Herndon Festival is coming!  The festival  is  held May 28-31 and brings 80,000 attendees to the town.  A key feature of the festival is the Business Expo, held during the day on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31.  Booths are still available with discounted rates for businesses located in town. World Police & Fire Games and Korean American Games Coming to Herndon

 

 

Two national events are coming to Herndon this summer, and each represents an opportunity for businesses to reach new customers. The 18th Korean American National Sports Festival will be held  June 19-21, bringing more than 2,000 athletes and 3,000 total visitors to Herndon over the three days. Sponsorships are available; contact Jenny Choi at 703-278-8255 or visit www.kasa-gw.org/kasf/.  Herndon will also be welcoming visitors and participants in the Fairfax 2015 World Police & Fire Games, June 26-July 5.  

The Games will bring 30,000-plus athletes and visitors to Fairfax County;

What does your company do? 

Rhein Tech Laboratories, Inc. provides electronic product/system design and electromagnetic engineering and regulatory compliance  testing.

 

When was it established?

Our business launched in 1988.

 

What is the origin of your company/organization name?  

Owner Desmond Fraser developed an affinity for all things German while studying in Bonn/Cologne.  He was inspired by the Rhein River and decided to name his company Rhein Tech Laboratories.

  

Who are your primary customers?

Our customers are small, medium and large wireless device manufacturers, defense contractors and avionics electronic hardware manufacturers, among others.

 

What sets you apart from your competitors?

If our clients win - we win. We view ourselves as an extension of our client's engineering departments.  We are committed to their deadlines and we are passionate about delivering excellent engineering services and products.

 

What direction do you see your company heading in the next five years?  

We are looking to maintain and grow our engineering and testing capabilities, and to develop environmentally friendly products.
