What Every TOLI Trustee Needs To Know About Life Insurance Underwriting

Life insurance policy pricing is determined by many factors, none more important, nor misunderstood, than the underwriting classification given to the insured.  Many Trust Owned Life Insurance (TOLI) Trustees do not understand the life insurance underwriting process and the effect that it has on life insurance policy pricing.  This webinar is designed to provide a background on the underwriting process and provide the Trustee with the information needed to ensure that the TOLI asset provides maximum value for the Beneficiary.  Besides providing insight to the process, this session will alert you to how you can help your client obtain a better underwriting offer.  You can actually help them save money.

Update Webinar: Life Insurance Management Requirements According to the OCC Unique and Hard-to-Value Assets Handbook

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency document entitled Unique and Hard-to-Value Assets released in August of 2012 includes the management of life insurance.   The Handbook describes your "fiduciary role in managing these assets"...and "provides guidance for examining these types of discretionary assets held in fiduciary accounts."  This second session provided by ITM on the subject will not only provide the attendee with a background in the requirements laid out in the Handbook, but provide guidance for the trustee or trust administrator to meet those requirements.  The session will deal with the "real life" issues outlined in the Handbook and lay out the actual steps one of the nation's largest managers of TOLI life insurance is taking to adhere to the new requirements.
