New Content Editor Feature - Release Notification E-mail

We have added a new feature to the Content Editor which you will start to see when you send releases to be processed for delivery.

For each release you will receive a notification e-mail which you must check for the following:

  • Audio
  • Artwork
  • Price tier
  • Release date
  • General metadata

Changes to the release details should NOT be carried out by you, but requested and listed in an e-mail by reply to the notification e-mail or via a ticket to labels@the-source.eu.

In order to avoid delays, we will automatically consider the release approved if we do not receive a response within 3 working days.

All instructions in the e-mail should be clear and self-explanatory, but if you have any further questions please contact us.

Reminder: Delivery Restrictions for Christmas

The Sleigh Bells are "Ringing and Jing Ting Tingaling too"... and they're getting louder...

Christmas really is just around the corner and as with every festive season, portals and stores reduce the amount of deliveries they process, and limit the times in which they accept deliveries (iTunes closes for a whole week for Christmas).

The Source will also be slowing down around Christmas and New Year, so please ensure you get your deliveries to us in good time. Here are the festive release deadlines:

Christmas Delivery Deadlines

For Store Date 17/12/12 - 04/01/13, The Source must receive by 30/11/12

For Store Date 07/01/13 - 08/01/13, The Source must receive by 07/12/12
