Congratulations to our students, Anna and Daniel Wray and Elsie Ortiz!  

Anna and Daniel, who are married, studied together and passed the General Education Development (GED) tests - meaning they now hold high school equivalency credentials and may pursue higher education or be eligible for better-paying jobs.  LVGH has been helping more students each year to prepare for their GED tests.  To learn more about our GED preparation classes, click here.

In January, LVGH student Elsie Ortiz completed the National External Diploma Program (NEDP), and has been awarded a high school diploma.  "Having my high school diploma will open many doors.  I can even continue with my education," Elsie says.  To read more about Elsie's goal of earning her high school diploma and what it means to her family, in her own words, click here - and watch for her appearance with our Executive Director, CJ Hauss next week on the Fox 61 Morning Show (see below)!
