The USC Latino Alumni Association partners with  Dr. Yasmin Davidds to launch the  USC LAA Transformational Leadership Initiative

  

November 2, 2012--Los Angeles, CA---The USC Latino Alumni Association (LAA) has partnered with Dr. Yasmin Davidds, Dr. Betty Rengifo Uribe and Jamie Green to launch the USC Latino Alumni Association Transformational Leaders Initiative (TLI), a program designed to provide Latino Alumni Association student scholars with the tools, knowledge, access to opportunities and the role models necessary to become successful professionals.   The program has been developed to help bridge the gap between university students and the professional world by providing LAA scholars with guidance, motivation and the leadership skills necessary to be successful in today's work force. Workshops include enhanced career coaching, key strategies to breaking into and succeeding in corporate America, Latina empowerment and negotiation skills, business etiquette and developing your professional style, internship placement and job search coaching, and increasing your emotional intelligence among other critical topics.
