It's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen. - John Wooden
Speeding Along at the Kentucky Speedway

We zipped down to the Kentucky Speedway for four days this past week for the NCS Quaker State 400, presented by Advance Auto Parts. The three-day event saw us handling 11 activations for events spread over the 1,000 acres of property.

The EE team was responsible for staging, audio and labor for various festivities that included live music and Q&A sessions with such drivers as Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmy Johnson, and 2016 winner Brad Keselowski. For such activations, our clients included brands such as Goodyear, Quaker State, Nationwide and Alsco.

Good to Be...Working with Andy Grammer Again

We are exceptionally proud to have long-standing relationships with many venues in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. We're also proud of the relationships we've built with many artists. One of those artists we've had the pleasure of working with is Andy Grammer

For the fifth time (in about as many years), we provided backline for him and his band when they were back in town over the July 4 weekend. They headlined The City of Mason's Red, Rhythm and Boom event on July 3, performing crowd favorites like Good to Be Alive, Fine by Me, Honey I'm Good and Keep Your Head Up. Such backline items as part of the band's entire package included of two Roland SPD-SX drum pads, Andy's Korg SV-1 Stage Vintage piano and a banjo with a pickup.

It's the Little Things that Add Up to Something Big

At EE, we know that success is all in the details: It's making sure that everyone is organized, informed and prepared to handle 11 clients across one event in three days, much like we did at the Kentucky Speedway; it's the details and time spent building relationships with our clients and customers, so that when they have a need, they come back to us time and time again.

A few years ago, we wrote a blog about all those little details and how it helps keep things running smooth behind the scenes, even when the unexpected happens. It still holds true today. Read our blog post, an oldie, but goodie, to see how our team always makes sure the show goes on without a hitch.
Upcoming Events

Here are just a few upcoming events that we are proud to be a part of happening across the area.

Thursday, July 21
The 54th annual Cincinnati Music Festival weekend kicks off on Thursday, July 21. We'll be there, providing audio and backline, for the fashion show and performances that celebrate 60s, 70s and 80s style and music. The event, hosted by Doug E Fresh, includes Talib Kweli and DJ Magnificent at Club Lounge at Paul Brown Stadium.

Belterra Park Blues, Brews and BBQ
Friday, July 22-Sunday, July 24
Beer, music and food: It doesn't get much better than that. Belterra Park is once again hosting its Blues, Brews and BBQ event, which celebrates local brews, delicious BBQ and some of the best local and national blues acts. We'll be there providing all production support, including staging, audio, lighting, backline and labor.

Sunday, July 24
The Queen of Soul is headed to Riverbend toward the end of this month for her debut appearance with The Cincinnati Pops. We have nothing but respect for the number one vocalist of all times, and are honored to provide supplemental audio support as she performs some of her greatest hits under the stars.
