Law Center Plus Seminar Deposition Despots: Managing Difficult Attorneys & Witnesses

Jeremy Singer, Natalie Giachos &

Professor Michael Flynn discuss role play

On Friday, April 17, 2015, Professor Michael Flynn, J.D., Natalie Giachos, Esq. (JD 2006) of Boyar & Freeman PA in Coral Springs, FL and Jeremy Singer, Esq., (JD 2011) of Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Fort Lauderdale, FL  presented, "Deposition Despots: Managing Difficult Attorneys & Witnesses."  Over 50 alumni, students, and friends attended either in person or via streaming live webinar. Attendees learned how to maintain their professionalism when the other attorney and the witness refuse to cooperate and attempt to "take over" the deposition.  The key, according to Professor Flynn, is to anticipate what could happen to derail your deposition and be ready to contact the Judge if court intervention is necessary.
