Dear Fellow NSU Law Alumni:
As everyone gets ready for July 4th barbecues and fireworks, I know that many of you are planning to travel this summer to faraway places to enjoy time off with family and friends. I hope you return refreshed and invigorated.
Did you know that when classes resume this fall, the Law Center will be marking its 40th anniversary? In recognition of this special milestone, Founders Day will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2014. We have come a long way since 1974, and we want you to join us as we reminisce and reconnect with each other.
During the day, some of your favorite professors will be giving a CLE program entitled "Back to the Classroom," during which they will discuss a variety of timely topics. The Florida Bar has approved these sessions for 6.0 credits (including 1.0 credits of ethics).
After an optional tour of the campus, Founders Day continues in the evening with dinner and music at the nearby Grande Oaks Golf Club. In addition to honoring founding faculty member Bruce Rogow, we will be saying a special "thank you" to all the professors who left the full-time faculty at the end of the 2013-14 school year.
We look forward to seeing you on September 6th! To reserve your place (and receive an early bird discount), just scroll down this page to register.
See you around!

Sincerely,
Elena

First, go back to the classroom at the Law Center with some of your favorite former professors as they present: "Back to the Classroom: Hot Topics in Law." The Florida Bar has approved this program for 6.0 CLE hours (including 1.0 hour for ethics; Florida Board Certified attorneys also can earn certification credits). Scheduled to present are: Randolph Braccialarghe, Ron Brown, Marilyn Cane, Phyllis Coleman, Mark Dobson, Olympia Duhart, Bob Jarvis, Elena Marty-Nelson, Gail Richmond, Michael Richmond, Bruce Rogow, and Steve Wisotsky. An optional tour of the campus begins following the last speaker.
Then join us for dinner and music at NSU's beautiful Grande Oaks Golf Club. In addition to recognizing founding faculty member Bruce Rogow, we will be paying a special tribute to his colleagues who also left the full-time faculty at the end of the 2013-14 school year: Dean Emeritus Joe Harbaugh and Professors Johnny Burris, Marilyn Cane, Lynn Epstein, Gail Richmond, Eloisa Rodriguez-Dod, Marc Rohr, Charlene Smith, and Steve Wisotsky.
(Note: You may sign up for either or both events. Special discounts apply when both events are purchased.)
