Dear Fellow NSU Law Alumni:

As the academic year draws to an end, I want to tell you about the Class of 2014 and share some of their accomplishments with you.

The Nova Law Review held its first Alumni Brunch on April 11, 2014. Our Moot Court teams performed well again this year. But the leadership shown by the SBA President, Rahysa Vargas (2014 JD Candidate), and her Board is very impressive!  The Class of 2014 is making a class gift to support scholarship for law students.  Read about the "Paving the Way to Scholarship" class gift program below and learn how you can support their efforts.

We have two fun networking events in May for South Florida law alumni.  Those of you up north who are sick of winter will want to join us in February 2015 on the Alumni Cruise.  The link is now open, just scroll down this page to make your reservations.

Stay updated about alumni news and events at the Law Center by visiting: www.nsulaw.nova.edu/  from time to time.  The law alumni mailbox has changed.  Please add lawalumni@nova.edu to your address book so you will receive future e-newsletters.

Just click on "stay connected" in the box to the left of this letter to update your contact information so you do not miss a thing.

See you around!

Sincerely,

Elena

NSU Law's Class of 2014 Invites You to Pave the Way for Scholarship

The Class of 2014 is making a gift to support the Law Alumni Scholarship endowed fund. "Paving the Way for Scholarship" will benefit a 3L or 4L student of the following graduating class.

The Law Alumni Scholarship recipient for the 2013-2014 academic year is Michelle Nichols DeLong.  Michelle is the Alumni Relations Editor for Nova Law Review and was co-creator of the inaugural Law Review Alumni Brunch. She also won first place in an ABA writing competition. The generosity shown by donors to the Law Alumni Scholarship fund enabled Michelle to focus on her studies, write an article for the ABA, and create a new program for Law Review that will benefit students for years to come. Read more about Michelle in NSU Law Student News below.

Your donations can make a big difference in a law student's life!  The Class of 2014 invites you to join them in raising money for scholarships. Just buy a brick, add your custom message to it, and it will be placed at the entrance of the Shepard Broad Law Center. Proceeds from the brick purchase will fund the Law Alumni Scholarship program and are tax-deductible. Leave your mark at NSU Law and support the Class of 2014. To buy a brick now, go to www.nsulaw.nova.edu click "Home" and scroll down to "Paving the Way for Scholarship" or just click here
