The White House Tweets about Boston Student Rights App
The White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans (@AfAmEducation) tweeted an article about BSAC's Boston Student Rights App published today on WBUR's Learning Lab. The article describes the app and its function, as well as profiling some of the work BSAC has done around student rights and school discipline..
The app has been downloaded over 1,700 in it's first month!

Mayor Walsh Awards BSAC with Community Leadership Award at Greenovate Summit
BSAC was recognized at the June 6th Greenovate Summit for its role in inserting youth voice and concerns into Boston's Climate Action Plan. Mayor Walsh presented BSAC with a Greenovate Boston "Community Leadership" award celebrating our contributions to the city's plan to prepare Boston for the effects of climate change and our efforts to make Boston Public Schools more sustainable.
BSAC will continue to advocate for Boston Public Schools to utilize renewable energy and increase their energy efficiency to help the city meet its climate goals.
