Boston Mayoral Candidates
Ice Cream!

During the past week, young people from BSAC, BYOP and the YOUNG Coalition met with 7 Boston Mayoral candidates in local ice cream shops to share their vision of the future of BPS.
Meetings included lively discussions and students shared the education platform they developed - Principles on Education.

John Connelly, Dan Conley, Rob Consalvo
YOUNG Coalition members have distributed the Platform to all Mayoral Candidates to ensure that they know what BPS students want for their own education.
The platform calls for:
- Student Centered Classrooms
- Increased Student Voice
- Safe and Supportive Schools/Alternative Discipline
- Strong Out-of-School Opportunities
- Education Equity/Opportunity to Learn for ALL
