BSAC Marching with YAC to Support More
Equitable MBTA Policies

Members of BSAC joined approximately 100 Boston area youth in a march from Boylston Station to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to demand support for their proposal, which would prevent fare increases on the MBTA, provide youth and senior passes, and introduce a tiered fare structure based on income.
The March for Equi(T) was organized by the Youth Affordabili(T) Coalition (YAC), who sent representatives to speak with House Speaker Robert DeLeo about the youth's concerns and needs.
A follow-up event will take place on April 10th at the Statehouse.
