DeScience - Research on the Runway!

Calling all scientists for a unique opportunity to get your research out of the lab in a fun way.  Yuly Fuentes, a member of the Propel Team, is spearheading a new initiative called DeScience. Her team has an inspiring idea - to transform inspiring research images into wearable science in the form of a fashion garment!

To participate, all you need to do is to submit your image/s of research at the following site www.fashiondescience.com and you will be matched up with a talented designer who will use your images as inspiration and your scientific guidance to create a design that reflects your work!
The final designs will be featured on a professional fashion runway show in Boston, April 2014. More details will be coming soon. This is a unique opportunity to increase awareness of scientific research to a broader audience, to be creative beyond scientific limits and to expand your network within and outside the scientific community.
