Greetings!

Words are carriers. They carry God's divine purpose. When we learn to speak only what God says, then we will see God's purpose manifest in our lives. It is a seed principle. Every seed has within itself its own purpose and destiny. God's Word holds everything you need to be everything you were created to become. If you want to fulfill your purpose in life, then you have to learn how to release God's purposes through speaking his Word. |

CONFESSION
THE PATH TO FINDING GOD'S PURPOSE |
"Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, that I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightiest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?"
Proverbs 22:20-21
We all know, or should know, the value and importance of words. Everything that has been created came as the result of the spoken Word of God. You can go through the first chapter of Genesis and see where God spoke and how through words things came into being. Hebrews 11:3 says, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen where not made of things which do appear." James tells us that the words of our mouth set in motion the course of nature or the wheel of genesis (Jam. 3:6). Job said, "How forcible are right words" (Job 6:25). David said, "To him that ordereth his conversation aright, will I show the salvation of God" (Psa. 50:23). Solomon said, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof" (Pro. 18:21). Peter said, "He that will love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips that they speak no guile" (1 Pet. 3:10). When God put into man the power to speak words he intended for man to use it to dominate and control his environment. Jesus said, "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life" (John 6:63). That is what God intended for us--to allow our words to frame the spiritual dimension of our life, which in turn would give our life purpose.
When God said, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" (Isa. 55:11), what he was letting us know is that every Word of God carries purpose and the power within itself to create purpose. Words have such a powerful part to play in making us who we are. If you want to rise to the level where life takes you over then let God's Word become infused in everything about your life. Feed on it. Let his Word become your thoughts. Let it dominate your thinking. Let it become who you are, so that when you think of your own life you only think of it from the standpoint of what the Word says you are. In other words, you determine to let the Word form the way you live your daily living! You decide to let it form the way you think and the way you talk.
John wrote in his first epistle, and said, "This is the confidence we have in him, that if we ask (speak) anything according to his will (in line with his Word) he hears us. And we know that if he hears us we have the petitions that we desire of him" (1 John 5:14-15). How do we know he has heard us? Because we prayed out his will! What we desire is born out of what he desires. We discover his desire by feeding on the Word. When we speak his Word, even in prayer, we release his will into the earth. Prayers are prayed with words. There is no higher prayer to pray than to pray out God's Word. God sowed his Word into the earth in order for us to pray it out. His will is his Word, and when we make it our prayer, we are willing his will into the earth!
The call, the equipment, the ability--the means to do whatever is God's will for your life has already been provided. Everything you need, no matter where that need exists, is pending release by the very words you speak. You do not have to worry or get into care when you are confronted with things you need, because you have the means by speaking God's Word to cause the purpose of God to come to pass in your life. Make it a practice to speak God's Word and watch how it will pave the way for you to find and fulfill your purpose and destiny. |

PRAYER
Father, David said of old, "Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips" (Psa. 141:3). Today, I purpose in my heart to speak only right words. I ask you to check me in my spirit before I say anything contrary to what I know is your will for my life. If it does not have your purpose within it, then keep my lips from it. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. |
CONFESSION
God's Word is alive and powerful. When I speak his Word, I am releasing life and the power to create that life in me and for me. Therefore, I will meditate on God's Word. I will speak in line with God's Word. I will declare his purpose over my life. I will see things change that need changing because I say only what God says. I am healed. I am whole. I am blessed. I am prospering. I am above only and not beneath! This is my decree. This is what I believe! |
DEFINING MOMENTS...
The Greek word for confession is HOMOLOGIA. It literally means to speak the same as. In other words, our confession is to say only what God says. We are to take his Word and declare it over our life. Since God's Word is his Will, when we say only what he wills, we are setting in motion his will and purpose. God's Word carries the breath of heaven. The moment we release his Word, we are expiring what has been inspired by his mighty power and glory. Never let go of saying what he says...for by doing so, you will eat the fruit of your lips.
In His Grace,
Pastor David
