Canine Angels held our main annual Team Training class and Graduation in June and created six new teams, joining the three teams matched since last year's Graduation. We are so very proud of our 9 teams of the Class of 2014 and we look forward to many years of supporting them and hearing of their successes. The Car Litter Update
Our "Car" litter pups, Labrador/Golden Retriever crosses, have moved in with their volunteer raiser families and are growing so fast. Thank you to Cathy & Joey Davalos and Mary Delaney for the wonderful care you've given to these puppies and their Momma Sunshine, and to Mr. Philip Leone and Premier Nissan of San Jose for sponsoring this litter!
Canine Angels' raisers are able to choose the names of their puppies and these 3 1/2-month-olds have some great ones!
Bentley is living with Kerry Miller & Family in Campbell, CA.
Beamer will be raised by Roxanne Baudry in Whittier, CA.
Chevy will grow up in Grants Pass,
OR with Dale Balme & Family.
Taxi is living in Van Nuys, CA with Tom & Jennifer Killinger. Thank you to actress Julie Hagerty for sponsoring Taxi and choosing his name!
Shelby is spending the next year in Neward, MD with her raiser Evelyn Paz.
Jetta will get to experience Northern California living between Sue Miller, Sheila Kolby and The Wiebe Family's homes.
Diesel will be raised by Kris Brewer in Helena, MT.
One pup is being raised by Canine Companions for Independence, owner of this litter's father.
If you'd like to follow the journeys of or donate in honor of specific puppies, you can find the links on this page of our website to their Facebook fan pages and crowdrise fundraisers.

ADI Conference
Two Canine Angels staff members, one graduate and one Board member are very excited to be heading to Denver, Colorado September 17-19 for the annual Assistance Dogs International (ADI) conference. ADI is a coalition of not for profit assistance dog organizations. The purpose of ADI is to improve the areas of training, placement, and utilization of assistance dogs, staff and volunteer education, as well as educating the public about assistance dogs, and advocating for the legal rights of people with disabilities partnered with assistance dogs.
Our team will benefit from sessions that include topics such as grantwriting, marketing, breeding, and healthcare, and will be able to network with 300 representatives of other assistance dog programs. They are also very excited to hear from guest speaker Temple Grandin.
We wish Kelly, Kerri, Hope and Ginger safe travels and a wonderful learning experience. A very special thank you to 12-year-olds Racquelle Vellandi and Hannah Cole of Treats for Charity for their sponsorship of Kelly and Kerri's participation in the conference. These girls bake and sell dog treats to raise funds to support CAST. You can learn more about Treats for Charity here: at
