Purpose of the Forum: To hear presentations by the candidates; to hear extemporaneous responses to Village issues; to become knowledgeable on the issues; and to inform citizens of the candidates' positions on the issues.

Forum Guidelines: Glenna Milberg
  1. Two draws were held before the beginning of the forum to determine who will go first on opening remarks and who would go first on closing remarks. Candidates will be seated at the dais in alphabetical order.
  2. Opening statements: 1 minute each
  3. Written questions submitted from The Islander News and the audience beginning with the first candidate: 1 minute 30 seconds response time from candidates to the left in turn, if he/she chooses.Questions resume with candidate #2. In the second round of questions, candidate will respond and candidate sitting second to left will have rebuttal time; then third to left, etc.
  4. Closing statements beginning with candidate who drew Number 1: 2 minutes each
  5. Wrap Up: Donna Dickey, Publisher The Islander News
