SEPTEMBER MARKETING SEMINARS ANNOUNCED

Instead of the general Holiday Marketing campaign normally created in December for Key Biscayne businesses, this year the Chamber's Marketing Committee is offering you assistance in creating your own marketing campaign. Mark your calendar now for the following one hour seminars that will be held in the Village Council Chambers the month of September on Wednesday Nights from 6:30-7:30pm:

THE VILLAGE IS OFFERING CPR-AED TRAINING

The Key Biscayne Fire Rescue Department is offering the American Safety & Health Institute CPR-AED Full 4 Hour Certification Training Course at the KB Fire Station. (CPR-AED: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation-Automated External Defibrillator).

August CPR/AED Class:       

Friday August 14, 2015: 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Aristi Gallery/Studio - 

Rita Coll, an international visual artist who resides in Key Biscayne, has opened Artisti Gallery/Studio at the Esplanade Mall. Artisti will exhibit selected works of fine art, offer workshops in its ample studio space and host other private special events. Artisti also offers leases on fine artwork for residences and businesses.

        Selected artists will have an opportunity to exhibit their work and provide professional workshops in their chosen style and medium.

         Artisti offers private art lessons on artistic fundamentals, techniques and styles popularized by well known artists from Monet to Pollock.

        The studio also provides studio time, art materials and expert guidance for paint and sip parties and private events.

MERCY HOSPITAL BACK TO SCHOOL SPLASH BASH

BECOME A FLORIDA NATURALIST

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne NAture Center is promoting an opportunity to become a Florida Naturalist. The Florida Master Naturalist Program is an adult education UF/IFAS Extension program developed by the University of Florida and pro­vided by many Extension offices and participating organizations throughout the state of Florida. FMNP training will benefit persons interested in learning more about Florida's environment or wishing to increase their knowledge for use in education programs as volun­teers, employees, ecotourism guides, and others.
