BECOME A LEADER - LOOKING FOR NOMINEES FOR THE KEY BISCAYNE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Bill Baggs Cape FL State Park The Nominating Committee is currently accepting nominees for the Board of Directors of the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center.

To qualify:

  • You must be a member of the Chamber for a minimum of one year
  • Show commitment to the community and Chamber.  

As a member of the Board of Directors, you can use your business expertise and relationships to improve the Key Biscayne business community. The mechanics are: attend 9 Board Meetings annually (at 7:30 am), represent the Chamber at Chamber events such as Business Card Exchanges, Seminars and Fundraisers and belong to/or Chair one of the Chamber's Committees.

KEY BISCAYNE 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION!
The big Fourth of July celebration is one of the highlights of summer on Key Biscayne. The day-long schedule of events begins with the traditional parade along Crandon Blvd. starting at 11:00 a.m. presented by the Fourth of July Parade Committee. If you wish to participate in the parade, you can complete the entry form at www.KB4.org. The Kiwanis Picnic takes place on the Village Green immediately after the parade. The day concludes at sunset with the fireworks display. Tune into 88.9 FM WDNA to hear the fireworks music simulcast. This is a not-to-be-missed event for all residents.
JULY NETWORKER  - WINN DIXIE WINE AND SPIRITS GRAND OPENING 

Our July Networker will be celebrating the Grand Opening of the newest Winn Dixie Wine & Spirits store with a ribbon cutting ceremony by our mayor, Mayra P. Lyndsay.  The event will include live entertainment and light bites from the Key Biscayne Winn-Dixie store's prepared foods department. Ribbon Cutting:6 p.m. Wine & Spirits Sampling:5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Bertoni Gelato Caffe by Dolce Vita will be opening  mid July in the Square Shopping Center.  They  are a manufacturer, marketer and retailer of the finest traditional Italian gelato for over 3 generations, since 1952.   Bertoni and Dolce Vita Gelato Brands and are a 5-time winner of best gelato (ice cream) in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.  They have retail stores in Coconut Grove, Aventura Mall,  Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Via Reggio, Italy.   Natural ingredients are used in their manufacturing facility in North Miami that also supplies Hotels, Restaurants and Supermarkets. The Bertoni company is very excited to be in Key Biscayne and have the opportunity to share artisanal gelato.  In addition to gelato products, Frullati's (gelato smoothies), Italian pastries, ILLY Coffee, healthy juices and other special treats will be offered. The opening date will be announced soon!
