Way to Go!!! Thank You.

Anita has been a local volunteer for at least 10 years.  She volunteered with PAVE forty hours a week  for several years, supporting parents through the IEP process.  She has provided hundreds of hours of IEP support as a IEP mentor for Clark County Parent Coalition families over the years.  Most recently, Anita has been sharing her knowledge of the IEP process and all that is involved by providing a book study on  Emotions to Advocacy.  This class has been extremely well received and has left participants begging for more.  The class was 2 hours long for 8 sessions and she is currently completing her 3rd round.  Anita has one teenage son and she is more than willing to support other moms on a similar walk.  Her calm, gentle spirit is contagious and her knowledge regarding all things disability related knows no bounds.  Anita is extremely generous and hospitable. I am most grateful to have her in my circle of support.

Happy Father's Day- to all the Dads and Grandfathers out there!!

As I have said many times without Terry at home supporting me and taking care of our girls I would never have been able to do all my Parent to Parent work. And I bet many of you feel the same way. So Thank You DADS.

FYI- Greg Schell, Father's Network Coordinator is retiring at the end of June.

"Thank you Greg for all of your work and for supporting DADS. You are the best!"
