P2P Volunteer Helping Parent of the Month:

A big thank you to Yakima County volunteer, Gloria Urness.

Gloria Urness has been a Parent Volunteer with Yakima County Parent to Parent for approximately 15 years. She and her husband Jim have 2 children, one of whom experiences Autism. Gloria has always been eager to help, is very crafty and is full of energy. She is the one, who we can call and she already has 3 suggestions ready to go no matter what the question or task is. She is a Helping Parent, Parent to Parent Board member, artist, chef, photographer, server, referral source, parent support advocate, event organizer, and much more! When she accepts a task she completes that task wholeheartedly. She is a thousand and one things all rolled up into one. We are very fortunate to have such an awesome Parent Volunteer!

Happy Mother's Day all-

Hugs to you and thank you for being there as a great mother and grandmother, some of you

and as a helper to all our P2P mothers out there.

Take care and have a great day!

Susan
