A big thank you to Snohomish County volunteer- Char Aurdal.

Char Aurdal is an exemplary Parent2Parent volunteer in Snohomish county. As the mother and caregiver of a grown son with developmental disabilities, Char has been an active volunteer at The Arc of Snohomish County for over 7 years. She attends Arc events and supports other families at our Mothers Network support group, Caregivers support group, Autism support group and Connecting Families activities. Char is also one of our community leaders and is trained as an Arc Helping Parent, IEP Parent Partner and Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) Leader. She is always willing to draw on her life experiences parenting a child with disabilities to offer support and encouragement to other families. Our Parent2Parent program is strong because of volunteers like Char!

Have a wonderful Spring and give a Welcome to

Jessy Smith, new Coordinator for Spokane Parent to Parent and to Erin King-Luce, new Coordinator for Chelan/Douglas.

You are all awesome.

Susan
