Happy Fall everyone-

Please enjoy the beautiful colors on the leaves and flowers and take care of yourselves. It is a great time of year for a drive or walk to see the foliage.

 

Also, a reminder that United Way and Combined Federal and State fund drives are on this Fall. YOU can " designate", the Parent to Parent in your area

and an Arc. They need all the financial help we can give them. Please make sure your Programs are set up to receive these donations.

National Survey of Service Coordinator/Case Manager & Family Experiences with SSI

An online survey is being conducted to understand the experiences of service coordinators/case managers and families/caregivers who have applied for SSI benefits. Click here to participate and become eligible to enter a drawing for a $25 gift card.

 

Down Syndrome Awareness Posters & Lesson Plan Available

The National Down Syndrome Society is offering a poster and lesson plan which promotes inclusion and raises awareness for young students about Down Syndrome. Click here for more information.

 

NIH Launching Down Syndrome Registry

The National Institutes of Health is launching a Web-based health registry for people with Down syndrome and their families, researchers, and health care providers. People with Down syndrome or their family members can sign up to create individual profiles with info about their health histories, including symptoms, diagnoses, and medical visits.
