Keep on sharing your parent stories with providers, legislators and even our federal government. It is a challenging time for people with disabilities and their families. Lots of discussion about budgets and cutbacks. I will be in Olympia March 6th and 20th. Love to walk around with you and visit your legislators.

 

Also, look for a conference call this month about  "Engaging our Volunteer parents in Programs"; ideas given by other Coordinators on how they keep their volunteers engaged with their Programs and utilize volunteers in other ways than one to one peer mentoring.
