Jobs that have been suggested to be more suitable for those with AS include:

    
1.      Postman-lone working, lack of pressure, involves exercise.
2.     Gardener-lone working, lack of pressure, involves exercise, detail               oriented, visual.
3.     IT Technician-lone working, technical precision required,                             logical/technical problem solving.
4.     Software Engineer-problem solving, working to precise specifications.
5.     Photographer-creative, lone working, using technical skills, visual.
6.     Piano Tuner-perfect pitch, lack of pressure, lone working, specialist             interest.
7.     Book Seller/Librarian-system focused, excellent factual memory                 opportunities for social interactions based on facts/Special Interest         Areas (SIAs), as opposed to social "chit-chat".
8.     Internet-Based business based on SIAs (i.e. Etsy online shop selling           hand-made jewelry with precious gems).
9.     Job Involving Animals
10.    Jobs Involving Individual's specific SIA
