Painting with Enkaustikos Hot Tools

This Zentangle was created on Canson Edition paper to showcase the versatility of our C-Series Pen Point Attachments. You can easily see the difference in width of the different Pen Points used. Each color used represents a different pen point:
C-0 red
C-1 orange
C-2 brown
C-3 green
C-4 teal
C-5 gray
C-6 dark blue
Here is a detail of a portrait showing the ability to achieve delicate line and brush stroke work with Enkaustikos Hot Tool. The beauty of working with the Hot Tools is that they fuse layers as you apply paint, so you can maintain those fine details you want to keep.

- Pamela Smith-Hudson will be hosting a one day "Contemporary Printmaking without a Press" workshop on both August 24 and 25 from 10am-2pm at Lee Silton Art Studios.
