President's Message

I was very happy to hear that everyone who attended the October meeting was very pleased with the new location for our meeting.  I'd like to thank Ginny Alliston from Ginny's Graphics & Web Design and Michele Passey from Solid Rock Booking for donating cookies to go with our coffee and tea.

I'd like to mention at this time that we have changed the January meeting to Tuesday January 7th 2014

as many of us will still be away enjoying the Christmas holidays.

I look forward to seeing you all on November 7th for our power networking meeting.

See you soon.

Membership Report

Thank you to all the members who renewed their annual memberships for the year.

We are introducing a few incentives for our members. At our next AGM in June we will have a draw for the member who brings a guest(s) during the year. This lucky member will win a free membership for the next year. So watch out for the bowl at the front desk during the meetings, bring a guest and drop in your business card.

Also available are tent cards with "Proud member of the CVSBA" and some rack cards and business cards for members who are participating in trade shows displaying their products and services. This encourages interest in the association so please take advantage of this.

We are also planning an Open House at our January meeting so guests can come out and see this diverse group of businesses... more to come on this.

I look forward to seeing you at our November meeting.

Terri Perrin - Feng Shui Consultant & Author

'Feng Shui' may sound like a tropical disease or something you might order off the menu at a Chinese restaurant ... but it is neither! It is a centuries-old practice of 'mindfully' arranging home and work environments with the intention of creating positive life changes.

Through engaging workshops, corporate 'Lunch & Learns', keynote speeches, plus home and business consultations, Fine Art of Intention makes Feng Shui easy to learn and fun to explore!
