For those who find it difficult not to be anxious for other people. Often they have ceased to worry about themselves, but for those of whom they are fond they may suffer much, frequently anticipating that some unfortunate thing may happen to them.

Issue #61                                                  September 2013

Now that it is mid September everyone should be settled into the routine of school and hopefully all is well.

As a parent however old your loved ones are it is very easy to worry about them especially when they have left home. I am glad that it is so easy to keep in touch with texting and Facebook etc, and very thankful for the remedies to help curb any worries.

Until next time...

Many blessings,

Sarah

What can the Bach Flowers do for you?

The Bach Flower remedies were created over seventy years ago by Dr. Edward Bach and his intention was that they were to be a simple system of self-healing.

"I want to make it as simple as this: 'I am hungry, I will go and pull a lettuce from the garden for my tea: I am frightened and ill, I will take a dose of Mimulus.'

(Dr. Bach - The Medical Discoveries of Dr. Bach).

In 1934, Bach wrote the following concerning the way his flower remedies work:

"They cure, not by attacking the disease, but by flooding our bodies with the beautiful vibrations of our Higher Nature, in the presence of which, disease melts away as the snow in the sunshine. There is no true healing unless there is a change in outlook, peace of mind and inner happiness."

So what would you like the Bach Flowers to do for you?

Are you feeling fearful, depressed, tired, overwhelmed, stressed and all you want is to just be happy?

Here are some comments that some Bach Flower Level One  students made after  taking just one remedy as frequently as possible over a short period of time.

null Remedy - Elm for when you are overwhelmed by responsibility

"I found that what would usually overwhelm me I took in my stride. I let the small things bother me the most and last night when supper was not cooking as planned I didn't worry about it and it turned out just fine. Overall Elm worked wonders for me."

null Remedy - Oak for when you are exhausted but struggle on

"I did not feel guilty about relaxing on the couch after school.  I was impressed and more aware of self-forgiveness and self-permission."

null Remedy - Larch for when you lack confidence

"The Larch remedy is surprisingly potent. It removed any doubt in my mind about my action, or behavior and made me much more confident in many aspects of my daily life."

The remedies assist with bringing out the positive qualities that are already within us, and help to restore balance and equilibrium.
