Two Eagles Lodge B&B is again raising plump, juicy roasting chickens which will be ready for pick-up in early September.   

Stock your freezer for fall and winter.  A percentage of all pre-ordered chickens will be donated to the Comox Valley Hospice and Comox Valley Food Bank.  Please call

President's Message 
     

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful summer, but now it's time to roll up our sleeves and get back to some serious networking.

 
Over the summer, we have been looking for a new location for our monthly meetings and we have found one.  Starting October 3rd our new location will be at the Florence Filberg Center in the Evergreen Room on the lower level.  The times will be the same with the doors opening at 6 pm for networking and with the regular meeting starting at 6:30 pm.  The location is central, great parking and the price was right.  But I'll still look forward to seeing you all on September 5th at the Best Western Hotel as we kick off the new season.

Program Report
Our next meeting is on Thursday, September 5 at the Best Western Plus, Courtenay. Mix and Mingle at 6 pm and the meeting starts at 6.30 pm.

 

Heather Cooper of  3rd Life Creations is the spotlight speaker for September.  

 

The All-In-One Health Care Kit is a medical organizer.  It keeps a person's medical information organized and all in one place.  It can be expanded, changed and rearranged. It uses a color coding system that allows for more than one person's information to be kept in the same kit.

 

Heather was a nurse for 13 years.  Certified in critical care & coronary care, she worked in the ICU at Kingston General Hospital before a car accident forced her into retirement.  

 

She was the recipient of the 'New Business of the Year' award for 2013 from the SBA Association.

However you define your current work situation, it's her hope that you find not just some useful tools in tonight's presentation, but walk away a lot more hopeful about the changes we're all encountering in today's labour market.
