Those who are easily discouraged. They may be progressing well in illness, or in the affairs of their daily life, but any small delay or hindrance to progress causes doubt and soon
disheartens them.

- The Twelve Healers and Other Remedies  - Dr.Bach
Testimonial

My niece found a nest and bird on the ground that had fallen out of a tree. She came over to my house and asked if there was a remedy that she could give it. So I put some Rescue Remedy in the water she was giving the bird.

Later that evening she came over and was all excited because the bird had perked up and was sitting on her arm! The next day the bird was so noisy that she asked if there was a remedy that would calm it down. The bird and my niece are now best of friends. I'm also happy that my niece now knows the power of the remedies and their uses and that she knew to come to me for help!

Issue #57                                                          May 2013

Greetings!

I hope all the Mothers out there had an enjoyable Mothers Day. I received a witty plain card from my son, and a more elaborate one from my daughter. She also made me breakfast.

Recently I had the opportunity to sit-in on the Level Two in Vancouver, and gained some more knowledge about the remedies. It was great to see some of the students I taught the first level to and to meet the Director of Education for North America.

Until next time...

Many blessings,
Sarah

Precious Pets

We all love our pets.  The other members of my family often say, "You love the dogs more than us."  Could it be because the dogs always greet me with enthusiasm wagging their tails, never answer back, and give me unconditional love?

All is well and good when the dogs are fit and healthy, but when they are not acting their usual selves, or hurt themselves my heart sinks. It is very worrying because they cannot tell you where it hurts or what is wrong.

Bach remedies can help your animals in exactly the same way they help you and the rest of your family. The key is to try to see the situation from your pet's point of view. How would your pet live if it had the choice? Has anything changed in the home that might have scared or unsettled it? For most simple situations you can select remedies yourself, safe in the knowledge that this is a gentle system and at worse you will do no harm.

The dosage is two drops from each selected remedy, or four drops of Rescue Remedy. As they are preserved in brandy always dilute before use. For any concerns always seek the advice from a vet.

For longer-term use a treatment bottle can be made up. To this add two drops of each individual remedy and four drops of Rescue Remedy (up to seven remedies) to a 30ml bottle of spring water. A dose is four drops from this bottle, and you should give at least four doses a day. Use until symptoms improve.

There are many ways to give the remedies to animals, so pick the one that works for you.

  • Drip the remedies onto pads, paws, nose or ears so they will be absorbed through the skin or licked off.
  • You can put the remedies into food, onto pet treats or in their water.
  • There is no worry of over-dosing.

Please note:  The remedies will not change the inherent temperament of a particular breed or animal, but will help bring them into balance.  The remedies do not treat any medical conditions directly.  If you are in any doubt about the health of your pet, seek the advice of a vet.
