Cranberry Sauce with apples and candied ginger
Perfect on your holiday turkey or with your next pork roast.
1 cup brown sugar, packed
4 tbsp orange juice concentrate
1 tbsp fresh ginger, chopped fine
4 cup cranberries
1 cup granny smith apples, cored and diced
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 tbsp candied ginger
Place the sugar, orange juice and ginger into a pot.
Simmer over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the cranberries and apples and cook until the cranberries pop - about 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the dried cranberries and the candied ginger.
Serve warm or allow to cool before serving.
